Selwyn Hughes – is the founder for CWR(Crusade for World Revival). He is also the author of “Everyday With Jesus” which is the best selling daily devotional. Selwyn Hughes worked as a Pastor, Writer and Teacher. He served in a number of churches after his ministerial training and ordination. His contribution to the world of Christian literature includes over 50 books which he authored during his ministry which spanned for about 50 years. I was really inspired by his daily devotional “Everyday With Jesus”. So when I saw this book; I bought it and started reading it without a second thought and of course I was blessed by the deep insight which Selwyn got through his decades of service in Christian ministry.

‘You are a Christian’- that doesn’t mean that you will not have hardships and disappointments in life. Roger Palms through his life’s experience is telling us how God cares for us even in the midst of these disappointments. I bought this book more than two years back but was never in a mood to finish this. But this time I was feeling low and hence I decided to get a hold of this book. I am not sure how much this book was able to lift my spirit; but I could identify myself with the thought line the author was processing. And of course there were a few new thought which this book put into my heart.
